A belly button, or naval, piercing is one of the most common types of piercings because it is easily concealable. Some historians date the practice back to the Egyptians, while in recent times, the practice gained popularity after an Aerosmith music video showed Alicia Silverstone getting her naval pierced. The belly button piercing is usually vertically positioned around the naval and typically takes less than six months to heal.
Typical costs:
Belly button piercings typically cost $25-$70, depending on whether the piercer includes the price of the jewelry in the total cost advertised. For example, Ice 9 Studio[1] , in Pittsburgh, Pa., charges $70 for a naval piercing that includes jewelry. Zebra Tattoo and Piercing[2] , located in the Bay Area in California, charges $25 for the piercing itself and the jewelry is priced at $15 and up.
What should be included:
The naval piercing should include the piercing itself, a piece of jewelry used in the piercing, and instructions for aftercare. Standard tongue piercings usually include either a nose stud or a nose ring as the jewelry.
Additional costs:
A 5%-15% gratuity for the piercer is considered standard.
A piercer might recommend after-care products for the nose piercing. H2Ocean[3] , a sea-salt based cleanser, costs $12 per 4 oz. can.
Naval piercing jewelry is readily available and reasonable inexpensive. Typically belly button piercing jewelry costs $10-$30 for most pieces, those with precious gems are likely to cost slightly more. For example, Claire's, the fashion accessory store, sells a variety of belly jewelry[4] for $10-$18 and several are in multi-piece sets.
Discounts:
Geographical areas where there is more competition among piercers typically have lower prices. Typically, larger cities with more piercers have lower prices than rural locations. But, finding the lowest price does not necessarily mean it will be the best service or the cleanest environment. When it comes to piercing, customers would be wise to place safety and cleanliness above finding the best deal.
Many piercing studios offer discounts on second or third piercings done in conjunction with the first. For example, Infinite Body Piercing[5] charges $30 for the first naval piercing and deducts $5 from the second $30 piercing.
Shopping for belly button piercing:
Piercing laws vary by state. The Association of Professional Piercers tracks legislation by state[6] . The association also provides a searchable database of members[7] .
Look for a piercer that operates in a clean environment. Certificates of membership or from local health departments might be posted on walls.

I paid $25 because I had bought my Jewelry from the piercing place which was $10 but I bought my cleaning supplies from a local pharmacy because it was cheaper, the reason it can get upto $50 is because obviously the piercing price, the ring, numbing cream/ spray (if needed), cleaning supplies, ect
Never go here to get your belly button pierced. They didn't put mine deep enough and it messed up and ripped out while I was drying off after my shower.
