I had 4 dental implants before it was cool!! Sitting down? it was 4500 per tooth. That did include everything. Titanium rod, the surgery, and the tooth. I will say I have had no problems with the implants themselves. Care is just like your real teeth. I can eat a steak and corn on the cob as well. No worries.... It is so worth it just shop around for the best Dentist. Cheapest is not always the best to go with. Ask your friends for a referral . If you find someone you trust and have faith in keep him. Forever. One negative comment Every implant has a tooth next to it that has chipped or gotten a cavity . Dentist says it has nothing to do with the implants . Interesting . 4 issues with teeth next to 4 implants . I think it is likely there is a connection between the two. Its a lot of money but how important is it to have a great smile and be able to chew/ eat your food. That alone is priceless

Not begging for money or crying poor me. I am poor, I am a 44 year old lady and I live WAY below the poverty level beside I know what it is to go hungry and go without luxury's. I also know the only way to get fixed dentures(not snap on) is to come up with the money on my own. Haven't been able to start Can anyone tell me who is good, yet reasonable in Tx How hard is it to get a care credit loan? Has anyone gone abroad for dental work, what was the cost including air fair etc? I wantto have teeth and so I can smile again and dignity and with a confidence smile.
If their is a will their is a way and by God I will figure out a way!

Which Tooth: All or just bottoms
I was talked into getting ALL my teeth pulled and get dentures. It has ruined my life. I hate wearing them and the bottoms are the worst. I feel like I have a big plastic mouth piece in my mouth. Not to mention that I WAS a model. I haven't been out to socialize in years. It has ruined my life. I have saved money and want to know where I can get at least the bottoms done. I was qouted 50,000. That isn't happening. I am in nj but I will travel to get it done for a good price. Anyone have a suggestion?

I am wearing a denture over the implants. Everything I eat gets stuck underneath it, I have to take it out & clean it several times a day,. The only other option is to have the tooth attached to something resembling chicken wire which leaves your face looking emaciated like you have no teeth. I am more comfortable not wearing the denture but am too embarrassed to awe seen without it. Had I known, I would have opted to have all my teeth crowned when they became brittle and started breaking at 40 yrs of age. I have sjogrens syndrome leaving me with a very dry mouth which causes bacteria.l I have always tried to be meticulous in brushing, flossing. Unfortunately work long hours, not able to brush at work.

I think dental care has gotten way out of control. Is it because many employers are not providing dental insurance to the employees. Then to top it off they want all the money in three months...

Which Tooth: 3 teeth all molars
Includes: Extraction, bone grafts, implants, abutments, crowns. Three trips to Costa Rica. Even including air fare and hotel, this was much less than what I was quoted in the US which was approx. $48,000.00. In case you are wondering, Costa Rica has an excellent medical care system which is ranked higher than that of the US and it is affordable.

Abutment with crown came out because a small part of the implant was broken. My dentist Dr. Mathis said that he do not do implants anymore and will send me to another dentist to remove old implant and replace with new one. I do not know how much will cost me. Any suggestions what can I do?

Which Tooth: #12 (molar next to top right canine)
Due to my intense dental fear and horrible teeth (thanks, Dad!) I neglected the dentist for 5 years. When I finally got the courage to go back, I found out I needed 4 extractions (one was severely infected, one was a decayed wisdom tooth, and 2 were broken teeth), as well as fillings for 5 cavities. When I completed everything, I asked how we would begin the implant process. Sometimes, my dentist can do same-day extractions and implants, but I had some infection in my jaw so this is not an option for me. I am going in today for an extraction, bone graft, and will receive and acrylic-based upper partial (whatever that is) and then will go back in 4 months (after the bone graft can be reabsorbed by my bone) for the implant and then 4 months later for the permanent crown. The amount of time this takes as well as the pre-insurance estimate of $6600 absolutely floored me! Luckily, we have decent insurance and will pay about a third of the estimated cost. Good luck to everyone else!

I need entirely new teeth. I already paid $20,000 for the implants. While healing, someone ran a red light and totalled my car and me! Now I need to find affordable permanent uppers and lowers in Florida (early quote $30K). I need a better price and maybe a loan or payment plan.
